Hey guys! So, you may have heard of this thing called the keto diet that’s been all over the internet lately. It’s been gaining popularity because it’s all about eating high-fat, low-carb foods in order to kickstart weight loss. I decided to give it a try for myself and wow, was I blown away by the results! In just my first week on the keto diet, I lost a staggering amount of weight. I was absolutely amazed by how quickly the pounds were shedding off. Of course, everyone’s results will vary, but I think it’s safe to say that the keto diet can really work wonders if you stick with it. So, what did I eat during my first week on the keto diet? Well, mostly lots of healthy fats like avocado, cheese, and nuts. I also ate plenty of protein, such as chicken and fish, but I made sure to limit my carb intake as much as possible. One thing I really love about the keto diet is that it doesn’t feel like you’re constantly depriving yourself. There are plenty of delicious foods you can eat, like bacon and eggs for breakfast or a steak with buttered veggies for dinner. Plus, I found myself feeling more full and satisfied after meals than I used to when I was eating a higher-carb diet. Of course, it’s not all rainbows and sunshine on the keto diet. The first few days, I definitely experienced some “keto flu” symptoms, such as headaches and fatigue. But once I got past that initial hump, I felt amazing. If you’re considering trying the keto diet for yourself, I highly recommend giving it a shot! Just remember to consult with your doctor before making any major dietary changes and to listen to your body as you go through the process.
